Isn't this beautiful? When I saw this, my mind went immediately to some special Bible verses.
"For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." I Thessalonians 4:16-17
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." Matthew 24:30-31
Wow! Isn't that powerful. When I saw that beautiful cloud, I started watching the sky, wondering to myself, could this be the day that the Lord returns? Of course, it was not, but when I see big, beautiful clouds in the sky, I am reminded of these verses, and, like my pastor often says, "Even so, come Lord Jesus!"

Beautiful picture and beautiful thoughts. I too, sometimes gaze at the clouds and wonder, "will this be the day the trumphet will sound?"
When we got home that evening, I stood in the yard marveling at that cloud formation too. What was also amazing was how it was reflecting the sunset down onto everything, making everything a bright pink.
"The heavens declare the glory of God."
